I don’t know if its possible to attach such a simple word as “good” or “bad” to describe a year. It’s a long time, and throughout that time there will be ups and downs. Sometimes a year can be colored by a moment, either good or bad, but usually a year is a mixed bag. I think that is how i would describe my 2011. A roller coaster full of ups and downs.

I miss swimming so much. If I had the chance to go back to my club or high school team, I would. It doesn’t feel like Christmas. I am afraid to get comfortable at home because as soon as I do, it will be time to go back. I miss everyone at UCLA, but there is a part of me that is dreading going back.
